My Students
My students come from a rural community.
Most of my students' parents work in a nearby industry-based town. My students don't have much, and they need some new technology ideas and hands-on projects at school to help with our multimedia class.
My students seek to express themselves in the fine arts area with exciting and interesting projects.
Every day is a new idea and problem solving adventure for them. They are expected to be prepared to be productive and full of ideas in a fine arts classroom.
They never fail to impress me with their imagination and great ideas.
My Project
My students will learn the about energy and pollination with these kits. Students will use these two EcoSTEM kits to demo-straight and develop an understanding of the environment. They will then import their finding into Photoshop/AI and make a layout of their experiment. These kits will show students how energy from the sun works and can actually build and design a compost bed. Students will then export the findings and product and picture layout design. When students are exposed to other possibilities in the graphic arts, such as environment and nature, they may just make a career out of it.
I have seen how new supplies can spark a students imagination.
I feel that children need a variety of materials to help encourage their desire to create artwork projects. With your help and donation these 2 EcoSTEM kits my students will be able to have a better understanding of the environment and how we can incorporation art into science.
