My student's love the opportunity to incorporate technology into our daily routine.
In today's society, technology plays a key role in success. I am thankful we are able to utilize many different types of technology in the classroom to better differentiate instruction.
My Project
We have been fortunate enough to receive Kindles to use in our classroom this year, however the educational games and programs can be very distracting and disruptive to those around them without the use of headphones. We also have a CD player in our literacy center that we use daily. With headphones and books on CD, my students will be able to listen to books, as well as play educational games. Dry erase dots can be used in our literacy stations as response boards, as well as sight word practice. These materials will not only help my students this year, but for many years to come.
This project will help students in my classroom become more engaged and differentiate instruction to meet their individual needs.
My students will be able to explore technology and books on an individual basis without disrupting those around them. My class loves the chance to play educational games and work on their favorite programs!
