My students need guitars and method books to play in guitar class!
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Falch's classroom raised $619

My Students
We just started a guitar program at my school. The kids are so excited about learning a new instrument and I'm excited to be able to give them this opportunity!
My guitar classes are 9th-12th grade students.
They come from all walks of life, have different personalities, and have various backgrounds of musical training. But despite all these differences, they are learning how to play guitar together, learning how to read music, and developing composition and improvisation skills because of the guitar classes. The school is located in an area where lots of kids can't afford their own guitar. Or if they have one, it may be lacking in quality.
My Project
We are requesting guitars and method books. My students are learning how to play guitar together, learning how to read music, and developing composition and improvisation skills because of the guitar classes. Every day we play the guitar. Each week we will have playing tests to find out if the students are able to apply the concept of the week.
Donations to this project will improve the classroom because EVERYONE will be able to learn on their own guitar, instead of having to share guitars and only getting half the instructional time to apply the concepts.
More than half of students from low‑income households
