My students need a colored printer for visual schedules as well as task box activities. Dyslexic aids for students, as well as Construction Paper for interactive notebooks.
A typical day in my classroom is like a well managed circus! There is a lot of constant activity and movement, but all students know what he/she should be doing.
My students range in age from K-5th grade.
They are self-contained as well as resource. They range from OHI, to Autistic. My school is amazing and everyone works together as a team. We support each other and his/her teaching and learning differences.
My Project
We will use the colored printer for visual schedules as well as task box activities. They will use the construction paper for their interactive notebooks in the areas of English, and Math. The student who is dyslexic will also benefit from the special things to help him/her learn better!
The students who are Autistic do better with visual schedules, however it also helps if the schedule is in color instead of black and white!
Our common core Math and Language Arts notebooks will also benefit from the different ways we can learn/display Math and Reading.
