My Students
Organization is a huge challenge with my students. Students do not carry book bags which makes it difficult to keep up with assignments. My students need to learn how to organize themselves before they matriculate to high school.
My students are students are fun-loving but tough.
They come from many of the most impoverished communities in the Saint Louis Metropolitan area. Our school is struggling to make the gains needed to receive accreditation, but our students still are struggling to retain the academic habits which will increase their rate of success.
My Project
My students need 1 inch binders to improve organization and accountability. Organization is a tremendous challenge for my students. I envision the binders as a way to help students become organized. My students also need to be accountable for their own learning. The binder will be a way in which I can track accountability.
Your donation will help make my classroom a little more organized.
Student work will be centralized and students will have more autonomy on how and when they complete assignments.
