My students need more leveled books, letter tubs to help improve skills, and the truly most exciting part; the Butterfly Garden to help their eager minds continue to grow!
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My kiddos are yearning for more opportunities to learn and put their skills on display. We are asking for more leveled books so that they can continue to flourish as readers and the letter tubs for my non readers to help gain more confidence. We are hoping to start our butterfly unit soon too!
My kiddos are so full of appreciation for any chance to grow and learn new things.
They love going home and showing their parents how much they have learned at school. They love helping one another and pushing each other to go above and beyond. They are always looking for more ways to improve their skills and methods.
My Project
My students would absolutely love to get their hands on more leveled books so that they can build their reading skills up and show-off to their friends with their new found ability to pick up any book and read and comprehend it. The letter tubs are wonderful ways for my kids to practice their general basic skills and for those who are still struggling, it will give them more practice and confidence! The butterfly garden is going to be an amazing opportunity for them to explore and see how life evolves and how to ask questions and wonder.
This project will continue to change my students lives.
They come to school hoping and wanting new ways to learn and practice their skills and I want to be able to give them all that I can for them to do so. My students are going home and teaching their own families the things they are learning in my classroom which has been a huge blessing to many lives.
