Here in Kindergarten when we learn we like to move!
For many of my Kindergarten students this is their first year in an educational setting.
Sitting at a desk, in a traditional chair, and maintaining focus can be challenging. Alternative seating would allow them to move their bodies while focusing on lessons. My students are curious and love to learn. However, some students struggle with traditional seating. The wobble chairs would give them the option of moving their bodies while they work.
My Project
My students need four wobble chairs for our Kindergarten classroom. Traditional desk and chair seating arrangements are simply not what is best for all of the five- and six-year-old kiddos in my classroom. Some children work best when sitting while others need to kneel, stand, or be on the move. By incorporating various seating throughout our classroom my students will have the power to choose what works best for them.
Children want choices, these chairs will increase the seating options my children have in the classroom.
The wobble chairs will allow students to move and get the wiggles out while they work.
