This is our first year of offering an Agriculture Program to our students at our school. We are working on improving our facilities so the students are always in the safest environment possible. We are currently lacking a safe place to store flammable liquids.
Our students are very excited about the new opportunity they are currently offered.
We have great support not only from students, but the community. As a school, it is our job to make sure students are in the safest environment possible when working on an agricultural related task. Proper storage of flammable and hazardous chemicals is a must for an agriculture program.
My Project
Our students get time to work on a hands-on activity throughout the year. This year, we are turning pallets into American Flags. We are currently in need of a safe place to store the chemicals and paints we are using for our project. It is important that we store the chemicals and paint in a proper storage cabinet for safety purposes. By funding our project, and allowing us to receive a proper storage cabinet, we will be able to meet the safety requirements for using hazardous chemicals. In case there is a liquid leak, or fume leak, it is important to have the proper storage. This will ensure our students' safety in the lab area.
Your help funding our project will make a large difference for our students' safety.
By allowing us to receive a proper storage cabinet, we can use the lab safely. The cabinet will be locked at all times in order to provide supervision on hazardous materials. We will have a safe and special area to store our flammable liquids in. This will be a great help in monitoring hazardous materials and monitoring student safety.
