My Students
"PLAY IS OUR BRAIN'S FAVORITE WAY TO LEARN"
Block/Construction play promotes a wide array of learning skills for our preschoolers: motor skills, hand-eye coordination, spatial skills, a capacity of creativity, divergent thinking, social skills, and language skills.
Birch Tree Elementary is located in a very impoverished area.
Our preschool is equipped to house 40 preschoolers. Our preschoolers love school and love learning. We strive to provide our students with every opportunity available in order to help them flourish and succeed in life.
My Project
The blocks that we are requesting will be used and available in our block center. The block center is available to our students during play center times. The block center can be used for individual or group projects. The block center is designed to offer building and construction and a variety of other skills that will help our students today and later in life.
The donations to improve our block center will improve our preschool classroom by giving our students a selection of different blocks to explore and learn with.
These block will benefit 40 preschoolers this year and many years to come. This project will open the imagination and promote and improve many skills in all realms of education.
