My Students
I teach in a rural school district with students from very diverse backgrounds. I love teaching every one of my kiddos! My goal is to help each of them succeed. Some of my kiddos have a very difficult time sitting in a seat. I want to help them be able to work to the best of their ability.
I work with a very diverse group of kiddos.
They come from a varying range of backgrounds. I have several students of poverty and I want to help them succeed. My kiddos are fun, loving, and compassionate. We live in a small, rural community where we have a lot of adoptive parents and local businesses.
My Project
My kiddos will be able to use the stand-up desk to help them be able to move without being a distraction to their peers. They will be able to stand at the desk and use the kick footrest. My nervous test takers will also be able to stand if they need to, during a test. Using these desks, will engage a variety of learning styles and will help increase the oxygen in their blood.
I really feel these desks will alleviate a lot of stress for my kiddos.
They will learn how to utilize different resources to help them succeed at school. Less stress=more productive workers!
