My students need the bass metallophone to have more opportunities to create and play music.

My Students
Students come to music class ready to learn with much energy and excitement. My students especially enjoy the times when they get to create and play music on the Orff instruments. My biggest challenge is to find ways to provide additional opportunities for them to play instruments.
Each week approximately 350 students come to music class.
Most of my students are happy and willing to learn new and exciting things. Our school is over 50 years old, but is reasonably well maintained. However, budget cuts during the past several years have limited district expenditures on new equipment and instruments. It has been a challenge to find ways to provide new instruments and increased opportunities for students to create and play music under these circumstances.
My Project
The bass metallophone will provide students with more opportunities to create and perform music. Having more instruments available reduces student waiting times for their turn to play. Students will be able to remain focused on the music learning activities without being distracted.
Many positive learning opportunities for students have been lost over the past several years due to budget reductions in education.
The donations and gifts provided for the success of this project all help to turn this loss into a gain for my students. Your gift will provide a great instrument which my students will be able to enjoy for many years to come.
