My students need a sensory table with a lid, a letter recognition learning center, a master set of Magna-tiles, as well as some fine motor activities, and craft supplies.
Our class is full of hands on activities to build a love of learning.
My class is made up of both Preschool and Kindergarten students.
We are a small rural school, in a very high poverty area. Students are happy to be in school, and like the routine and safe environment that is provided. They are eager to learn, and the sky is the limit to their capabilities.
My Project
We are currently using a plastic tote as a sensory table. The purchase of a sensory table would allow us more room for sensory activities, in a neat organized manor. The purchase of a letter recognition center would be a great asset for the foundation of reading that students are building. The craft supplies will allow students to use their creativity. The Magna-tiles, and other such items will give students fun hands on learning experiences, while allowing them to develop fine motor and social skills.
My students need educational materials that will help them to develop a love of learning.
These materials will make learning fun while teaching them the skills needed to further their education.
