My Students
"Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much."
My students are a group of 5th graders who attend a high poverty school in Missouri.
They are an enthusiastic group of students who come to school ready to learn every day. They enjoy being social and working together on a variety of projects across all academic subjects.
My Project
Through working together, completing partner and group projects, my students will be able to learn social skills and how to work with others. They will use the chart paper and markers to work together in learning how to research, then share their research and thinking with their classmates. This will give them the opportunity to teach and learn from each other. Once complete, they will be able to display their work around the room and in the hallway.
With your help, my students can gain important life skills, such as working together and being respectful of others, through group work.
They will be able to learn the importance of diversity and learn to value others opinions. It will also give them the opportunity to take pride in their work when displaying for others to see.
