“Play is the highest form of research.” – Albert Einstein
Studies have shown that children learn best through hands on activities and play! They learn to share, they learn math skills through block building, and social skills through Dramatic play such as dress up, kitchen, and doll play.
My classroom consists of ten lively and sweet three to five year old's!
They have a love of learning and playing. They are full of ideas and provide me with daily laughter, love, and awe as they discover the world around them! My students enjoy block play, art and craft projects as well as dress up play and books! We also do a lot of online smart board activities such as ABC mouse.com
My Project
Imagination! do you remember being a kid? Everyday was a new adventure! With a new dress up station our students would be able to have a clean and fun center to explore! They could transform into policemen, a construction worker, a nurse, and a ballerina all why using their imagination and playing. They would learn the importance pretend play and sharing as well as develop their social skills and empathy all through play!
Donations to this project will improve our classroom by providing a new dress up center for our students.
Our current dress up center is a blue bucket that has a broken lid. The dress up clothing is all bunched together making it hard for our kids to utilize it much less make it look nice and clean. This project would provide a clean space for our kids to store their dress up clothes.
