My Students
A typical day in my classroom includes a lot of reading. We would love to have new literature sets that are current with valuable lessons to be taught.
My students are wonderful learners.
Some need extra support with reading, which is why we need more literature sets to meet the needs of all types of learners. The parents at my school are very involved in their children's education and are extremely supportive.
My Project
We will use these literature sets to enforce skills such as predicting, inferencing, context clues, summarizing, etc. Wonder has a great moral story that ties in with our school's anti-bullying campaign. We have class meetings once a week, and this book would be a great resource.
This project will make a difference, because it will put books in the hands of young readers.
Reading is extremely important, and is the foundation to all other subjects. Having this book would make my students' lives better because they will be reading a book that helps them understand how bullying can affect others.
