My Students
Jumping, leaping, yelling, banging! These behaviors are encouraged in our school, just not during regular, core content class periods.
Our public charter school is special because it has a unique mission and focus.
It provides incredible opportunities who excel in the arts. This means my classroom is filled with dancers, musicians, actors, and artists. These kids know how to express themselves, especially when it comes to movement!
My Project
These wiggle seats and squeeze balls will provide all of my creative movers and shakers with positive ways to release energy during class. As a reading and writing teacher, I often require students to sustain a certain activity for a length of time. Even 15 minutes of quiet sitting can be a struggle for students who spend most of their day on their feet expressing their beautiful talents!
This donation will help my students concentrate during their reading and writing class.
These kiddos have big dreams. They want to be actors, dancers, writers, and performers! All of these professions require students to be able to read, write, and think at a college level, so success in my class is critical to success in their future dreams and goals. You will help these unique, talented artists complete their work while giving them a positive outlet for their wonderful wiggles.
