A Blank Canvas For Learning!

My students need a class marker board and markers so we can have interactive lessons plus a border for the marker board so lessons and objectives can be displayed.

My Students

A typical day in my classroom is very busy! The class is always working on various assignments while I move around the room and help them when needed. They are constantly learning and growing in every subject area and I know they will only keep improving!

Each student has a different personality as well as different methods of learning.

This means I am always busy making sure each student has what they need in order to be successful! Our school is very small and in a very small town. The majority of the students have grown up together so it is a very tight-knit school. I love having such small classes so that I can get to know my students well throughout the school year. It also allows me to work one-on-one with my students more. This helps them reach more of their learning goals. I love watching them grow and learn throughout the school year. One of my largest goals as a teacher is to provide my students with whatever they need to be successful in school. All the generous donations on Donors Choose helps me achieve this goal! My students and I thank-you so much!

My Project

A marker board would help our classroom out in every subject area. Many times students have questions or need help on assignments, and we turn to the marker board to help work out the problem. However, our marker board is currently a piece of shower board hung on the wall. While it worked as a marker board in the beginning, it has now become difficult to write on. The marker does not come off of the board without using some type of cleaner, which is wearing the shower board down even more. The back of the board, which is black, is now visible through the white part of the board. With a new and actual marker board, I will be able to help my students with assignments in every subject area. We can quickly solve math problems together, take notes in science or social studies, and many other things. The possibilities with a new marker board would be endless!

Receiving a new marker board will help my classroom in so many ways!

Right now it is difficult to show my students examples, work on problems together, or even have them take notes on a subject. A marker board would allow us to do these things and more! My students love doing interactive activities such as math races on the board, and a new marker board would allow us to do that. Having a marker board in the classroom would help improve my students' education drastically.
