I am extremely lucky to have a class so eager to learn! I am also extremely lucky that I was the one chosen to teach them!
Several of my students come from financially stressed households with limited resources.
But these students are full of capability. They are diligent and hard-working, striving for academic success. They love to learn and look for different ways to grow academically.
My Project
What is special about my planet? Does Jupiter have a red spot? Does Saturn have a ring? These questions will be answered by using the information learned to create a picture or model of their given topic. My students will use the resources requested, such as paints, brushes, and the t-shirts, to create a replica of their item from our solar system onto a t-shirt using the information they gained from reading the story. They will learn the importance of teamwork, while displaying an alternate creative way to provide learned material and details about their learning.
These donations will allow my students a visual, hands on experience to their learning, which makes it perfect to implement the different learning styles.
Also, they will love receiving compliments as they display their research while walking through the building. These donations will help my classroom by giving my students a fun way to learn. "Smarter, Together"
