I work to make my classroom a safe place for all students. I greet each student as they enter with an enthusiastic "Hello! I am happy you are here today!" and a firm handshake.
We are a fourth grade community loving learning and always growing.
I have an amazing group of students.
They are kind, helpful, and hardworking! My students thrive on positive reinforcements. They enjoy helping each other, having conversations, and applying their learning to the real world. My students are enthusiastic about learning and challenge themselves everyday. They discuss their growth mindset and how they are developing it as an individual.
My Project
A document camera will allow me to explicitly show my students what I want them to try in their reading, writing, or math notebooks. I will be able to model my thinking as a reader, writer, and mathematical thinker. Students will be able to share their thinking with the whole class.
Everyday my students are engaged in reading, writing, and math lessons.
They listen intently to me read and model my thinking and they try it out in their own reading, writing, and math notebook. The document camera will help students develop a sense of ownership over their learning and growth. Students will be motivated to share their learning with our community.
