My students need dissection supplies in order to encourage curiosity about the world around us. Specifically we need pans, tools, and aprons!
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. McKoy's classroom raised $549

My Students
The young scientists in my room have been begging for the opportunity to be able to dissect in our classroom!
My students come from situations of extreme poverty and their curiosity is often limited by financial means.
They have been asking for the opportunity to be able to dissect in our classroom. I want to be able to provide students with this opportunity because fostering curiosity is key for our future!
My Project
The dissection materials will be used in two different settings: the classroom and as an after school enrichment course. In both situations, students will be researching and learning about the anatomy and functions of each dissection animal and then participate in a dissection. The goal and purpose will be to explore and engage in this science experience to better prepare for the future and to continue to encourage curiosity.
Participating in dissection is something every kid remembers.
I want to teach students that curiosity is something to be proud of and in order to provide this opportunity, I need the help of DonorsChoose!
