Being a Title I school, many of my students do not have access to computers at home. Technology is a vital part of our world today, and I want to give my students the same opportunities as other children. It is important to me that my students feel prepared for the future.
I have 17 amazing second graders in my class.
Many of them live in poverty, yet they come to school energized and ready to work hard. This is in large part due to the wonderful staff that we have. Our teachers care for our students and their families, and we go above and beyond every day to see that their educational and emotional needs have been met. My students love learning and have made personal learning goals in reading and math. I want to see them reach their goals and you can help!
My Project
I am requesting one Chromebook to help differentiate instruction during reading and math centers. This Chromebook can make an immediate difference in our classroom. My students will be able to use it to engage in individualized lessons during math and reading centers. Students who are struggling will get the extra support they need, and advanced students will enjoy being challenged with higher-level concepts.
