My students need four iPads to support their learning in the classroom. The students can use the iPads in independent learning or student lead activities.
My students come to school with limited educational experiences. My goal is to provide an innovative educational experience that excites them for learning and engages them in the classroom.

I work in a title one school that focuses on meeting individual needs by providing a rigorous educational experience.
My students are eager to learn and participate in academic experiences. They love technology and using it to learn. We have a limited number of computers and iPads for the students so they get even more excited when it is their turn to use the devices.
The majority of my students are around the age of 8 so they are still making sense of the learning and how that applies to real life. I want my students to use technology so they are able to connect with the learning and engage in diverse learning activities.
My school uses assessment results to guide our teaching and find new ways to challenge students. We are working on incorporating more technology and finding the best ways to meet the individual needs of students.
My Project
I am requesting 4 student iPads. These iPads will be used to help students in diverse ways.
I will begin using the iPads to assess the students. Our school uses a literacy curriculum that assesses the students daily in their reading. I will use the results of the test to find games and activities that will meet the needs to the diverse population of my classroom.
The Ipads will be used in small group learning stations. The students will use the Apps on the Ipads to engage in learning. This will also allow me to work on small groups with other students to make sure and meet with students individually daily.
Empowering Students Through Art and creativity will also be a focus with the use of these Ipads. I want my students to create art and challenge their thinking while using technology.
My ultimate goal is to make sure that students are challenged, engaged, and make sense of their learning through the use of technology.
My current situation limits my students to technology.
My students have a limited amount of time they can complete their online assessments, these iPad will help my students not feel rushed and will give them time to engage in fun games instead of just using technology to assess. These iPads will also help provide more meaningful ways to learn while giving me more time to work in small group with all students.
