My Students
I have 26 fun, energetic students who come from many different home lives. I have eight students who are considered English Language Learners. Each of my students is a learner of the 21st century and there for really enjoy getting the opportunity to interact with different types of technology.
My students come from a range of social economic statuses.
I have some students who are living below the poverty line. I have eight students who are English Language Learners. My school tries to provide the best possible education for all of its students. We have also scored very high on local and state assessments.
My Project
A document camera would enhance my classroom by leaps and bounds. One way I plan to use the document camera is during math. I would be able to show students different math strategies and have students share their strategies with their peers. Another way I plan to use the document camera is during reading. The document camera would allow me to project a text for all of my students to see and then discuss the different teaching points associated with reading. The document camera would also be used during writing. The students would be able to project their writing examples for their peers to see. There are many ways that the document camera would be used in our classroom.
By donating to this project you would be enhancing learning for this years students and many more students in the coming years.
In an ever changing world of technology, this project would allow us to be up to date with the world in which we live.
