Technology brings energy to my classroom! My students LOVE anything that has technology incorporated. They are thirsty to use it to explore their world around them and technology is the best tool!
If I had to choose just a few words to describe my kindergarten students, I would say that they are eager, excited about learning, and caring.
I am passionate about helping my students accomplish their goals and build on their excitement about learning. In our classroom, we practice collaboration, creativity, and communication.
My classroom consists of a diverse learning community including students that are English language learners. My students have various learning styles and needs. They come from all socio-economic backgrounds. No matter what their background or their learning style, they are all ready to explore, create, and learn!
My Project
My students will be using the iPads to enhance their learning during Reader's Workshop, Writer's Workshop, and Math Workshop. During nonfiction units, my students will be able to complete research and find images that go along with their writing and projects. Having iPads in the classroom will also help students be able to complete Project Based Learning presentations. They will be able to utilize the camera and video functions to present their projects to the community. Not only will these iPads enhance my student's learning, but they will also be preparing them for their future by letting them explore technology and know how to use it correctly. My students will also be able to use their online learning programs to help them develop their skills and knowledge in literacy and in math.
Both technology and students are our future.
Having iPads in the classroom will only help my students move forward and accomplish goals. Please help my students better themselves and prepare for their futures!
