My Students

Writing is a way to encourage creativity and exploration.

My students love writing their own books during writer's workshop.

You will find a classroom full of imaginative writers sharing their thoughts as they create their own original stories as well as sharing their life events with me. Each student in my room takes great pride in being an author. It is an exciting part of the day to write, illustrate, and share our thoughts with our friends.

My Project

With the new staplers my students would have more independence in putting the books together. They will use the colored paper to create covers for their books to make them look unique. The students love having the opportunity to use different types of pens to write their stories. They have wonderful, creative minds that allow them to come up with great ideas of how to write their personal stories. The pencil sharpeners would really help eliminate a lot of time spent when pencils are broken due to a pencil sharpener that doesn't work well.

Your donation to my project will allow us to obtain supplies that will make writing time more efficient for the students by providing items to help them be more independent.

It would also provide my students with great writing items to help their imagination flow. Using fun pens to write with is always exciting no matter the age.
