My students LOVE to read.
They love to learn new things. They are constantly asking for more books, and get so excited when book orders come in. We read A LOT in our room. We have two problems in our room. One (good) problem is that we have more books than we have storage. Our second problem is that we have limited space to put storage.
My Project
The bookshelf will help organize certain books that I want my students to explore, and they will be able to see all of the books that pertain to the unit we are studying at a glance. Having listening center storage will make it easier for my students to self regulate their listening corner during literacy rotations.
We take very good care of the things we have in our classroom.
We work hard to keep our room clean and take pride in our belongings. Having these pieces of furniture donated will help us take care of the books that we love so much.
