We maximize every second that we have with our students.
With only 30 minute class periods, getting every second of activity time counts! Our program is structured around putting everyone in a situation where they can experience some type of personal success. I feel this is the driving force for encouraging participation and developing a passion for fitness and leading a healthy lifestyle. Our Physical Education program celebrates and encourages participation by all students, not just the “athletes.” We take a great amount of pride in the fact that every student can leave our gym believing that they have made themselves better by working hard.
My Project
These mats will allow us to conduct our state physical fitness testing.
They will also allow us to conduct various activities throughout the year. Each week our students are getting the opportunity to participate in a Physical Education program that emphasizes participation and success for all. This will be yet another tool in the toolbox to help build stronger and more confident kids.
These two folding gym mats will assist us in carrying out our state physical fitness tests, but will also be able to be used in many of our P.E.
activities throughout the year. Putting each student in a situation where they can experience some type of personal success helps build confidence and a passion for Physical Education. I always like to say that other classes teach you how to make a living, but P.E. teaches you how to make a life!
