  • Enhance Students' Learning With Storyboard That!

    Funded Oct 25, 2023

Storyboarding is an incredibly powerful tool for visual communication and Storyboard That is an online storyboarding tool that makes it easy to create storyboards even without being an artist. Thanks to you my students now have access to this incredible resource.

Creating a storyboard brings words from the page to life and encapsulates the student's imagination in ways that text alone cannot. Digital storytelling is a powerful way to share stories with the world. By using visual elements like images, characters, and scenes, students can create a rich and engaging experience to present their projects.

Thanks you for your generosity! This resource is truly making a difference for my students, and we really appreciate your help getting it funded!”

Thank you for helping me fund this project!

Teacher Pay Teachers are engaging resources created by teachers. The teachers who develop these lessons create content that aligns with standards and will engage students virtually and in class.

Having Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards gives me access to thousands of resources that I can use with my students.

I utilize the website Teachers Pay Teachers to find lessons and projects that extend what I am teaching my students, or to find differentiation for the content and lessons I have already planned to support the specific needs some students have based on their IEP and/or English Level.

My students and myself are very thankful!”

  • Hands on Algebra and Engineering

    Funded Dec 5, 2023

My students love to learn and love math, unfortunately during covid students had a harder time during online school and the loss of academic skills and knowledge is noticeable today.

At our school, more than 50% of students are Black, Latino, and/or Native American, and more than 50% come from low-income households.

Thank you for helping us get some games to help them practice their mathematical operations and acquire financial literacy, to support their engineering creative process and their prep for the regents with algebra tiles.

These materials have allowed me to create math centers for them to practice and solidify their skills. It allows students to better develop their engineering projects.

My students learn best by hands-on learning so games are the way to go! Fun is always a great way to learn.

My students are curious, open-minded, inquisitive, tangible, and eager. Every personality makes every day worth coming to school because I know it will be a story or movie.

I teach Title I students from different economical backgrounds, including Special Ed students and English language Learners.

This project truly makes a difference in our classroom and I truly appreciate your help getting it funded!”

  • Sense of Belonging for Students With Pixton

    Funded Oct 23, 2023

At our school, more than 50% of students are Black, Latino, and/or Native American, and more than 50% come from low-income households.

We have been using Pixton for years but our school is not able to fund it. I use it all the time with my students. Pixton turns students into comic creators. It cures classroom boredom and empowers every student by unleashing their artistic and writing potential. Pixton allows us to create a classroom photo where every student gets a chance to create their own avatar, and make it look how they want to be portrayed, and then compiles all those avatars for a student photo. We use these photos to build community, for Google Classroom, for presentations, and in many other ways.

Pixton allows teachers to create engaging lesson materials for my students, and it helps keep students more engaged by having them show their understanding on any topic with comics!

The yearly classroom membership you helped us fund is allowing us to download and print our creations for display after I review their work online and provide feedback there.

Pixton is an incredibly powerful tool for visual communication and an online tool that makes it easy to create comics even without being an artist. It brings words from the page to life, and encapsulates the student's imagination in ways that text alone cannot. This is a powerful way to share their story and projects with the world. • Light the Way for My Students

    Funded Sep 21, 2023

At our school, more than 50% of students are Black, Latino, and/or Native American, and more than 50% come from low-income households.

Using our incredible light table will allows students to explore in a unique and visual way our stem adventures.

My creative, imaginative learners love learning in a different way. This table shines through patterns for math and science to help students understand and identify patters while working on the engineering design process and with our rube Goldberg machines design project focused on energy transfers, simple machines and physics.

Sensory work in these subject areas helps them shine even brighter!
