Our Reading Corner: A Place to Escape

Thank you for your generous donation to our reading classroom. The books arrived with great anticipation from the students who were excited to be receiving the new materials. I have heard so many of my students already exclaim that they want me to reserve a book for them because they want to read it before anyone else.

These books will aid immensely in improving the reading levels of my students. For so many of them, their low reading ability comes from their lack of desire to read because they have never found material that interested them and, therefore, cannot practice their reading skills. With so many students already excited to read the new books, I am sure that these books will provide excellent opportunities for students to practice reading and develop the literacy skills that will help them throughout life.”
