  • Cubby Bins For Art And Writing Supplies

    Funded Sep 21, 2013

Thank you for your generosity, kind heart and commitment to education. You will put a smile on a kindergartener's face once they see their supplies. The cubby bins will be used everyday and students will now have a place to store their clip boards, smocks and other writing and art materials. Our district is facing some really severe budget cuts. It's nice to know that there are individuals out there like you who will continue to support classrooms and schools in need. Thank you for donating to my classroom and helping me provide the best environment possible for my students.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Moultrie

  • Creating Passionate Writers

    Funded Nov 29, 2012

Thank you are taking an interest and donating to my project and our class. I can't tell you how extremely excited and grateful I am. I appreciate your passion for education and generous heart.

These journals will be used daily and students will document memories and create fictional stories. Each quarter students will transition through each stage of writing along with learning writing technique.

With your help I believe students will continue to be motivated to write. They will have a bind collection of their writing pieces that they can share in school and keep for years to come.

Thanks for bringing joy to our classroom.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Moultrie

  • Inclusion Materials Needed For Diverse Classroom

    Funded Mar 19, 2013

Thank you so much for funding my project and seeing the value in my project. It is great to see that you share my vision for reaching children of all needs. My classroom is so diverse and these materials will help push my students to the next level in reading and writing.

I feel these tools will create new beginnings for my students and help me differentiate instruction as much as possible. I am hoping these materials will also help build strength and confidence in literacy amongst my students.

Thank you so much for valuing education and supporting inclusion.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Moultrie

I have 32 amazing kindergarten students who can tell an amazing story just by drawing a picture. All of my students love "authors chair" where they get a chance to share their fiction or non fiction stories with their classmates. My class is in a inner city public school district and we faced a massive budget cut, which caused us to buy our own copy paper and school supplies for our students. I have been using copy paper to photo copy the proper lined paper to use for each stage of writing, but it is becoming very costly. The books also have little longevity and become ripped and worn because the inner pages are only protected by construction paper.
