Motivate, Stimulate, and Create! Great Resources for Great Kids!
Funded Oct 18, 2021I cannot thank you enough for your generous donations. Thank you for helping to ensure my students will get motivating resources for learning during difficult times. I can't wait to see the looks on the students’ faces when they open up our classroom ATMs and start learning about our classroom economy for good behavior. I just know they will treasure their personal writing projects, published in the pre-made journals for years to come. I am also very grateful for the AirPods. Now I will be able to communicate with my parents online and teachers down the hall with technology that works! The noise cancellation option will also allow me to hear my students’ recorded readings without distractions. I’m excited to see how much their fluency progress will soar!”

Funded Jul 20, 2016Dear Donors,
When my students first saw their new Continental Wonders World Map rug, all they wanted to do was crawl around it, and try to identify the landmarks they knew of, and ask a TON of questions as they pointed to the different areas on the map. I am more than amazed by how much this new rug has ignited curiosity about the world in my students.
So far, we've used the rug to locate the seven continents and major oceans. As we read stories related to cultures or various areas around the world, we point it out on the map in reference to where we live. Our new rug is such a colorful, easy, and delightful way to help my students learn more about their world. We really appreciate your interest in the education of our youth. you for your support!”

iPads in Full-Day Kindergarten!
Funded May 9, 2013My kindergarten students were so excited to receive the iPad for our classroom! They couldn't wait to use their personal ear buds to plug in to all the great Apps!
It is super motivating for them to be able to read on the iPad and practice basic skills. We are able to use the iPad to take classroom photos for writing projects, field trips, and special activities. We have the iPad set up in a center chart so students can use it daily. One of their favorite things to do is practice writing their sight words using the Glow Write App.
Thanks to donors like you, our school is improving with the use of technology. Students are inspired and motivated to learn using iPads. Thank you for your generosity and interest in the success of children.”

Help! Bookshelves Needed!
Funded Sep 9, 2013Words cannot express my gratitude! I never thought we would have "real" bookshelves made out of "real" wood! They are a beautiful addition to our classroom!
As you can see, they are organized and easily accessible for the wonderful group of kinder kids who love to read. I've already added labels for each book bin by genre and topic. The boys and girls love visiting the library as one of their favorite centers for free choice reading. The bookshelves are heavy, durable, and safe for students to use for years to come.
Your generosity has touched my heart. Thank you for believing in the learning needs of our children.”

Easel Needed for Anchor Charts and Shared Writing
Funded Sep 27, 2013We just received our easel on Friday, and the students are thrilled! We even had a "dad" helper stop by to put it together so we could use it right away!
We've already used it for shared reading using the big book, "Apples and Pumpkins." We used it for shared writing, and the students got to use it to write sight words during center time. Because it's portable, I was able to move it up close to the tables for students to see. They were able to see the modeled writing clearly to complete their own writing task. I can now look forward to many engaging learning opportunities using our new easel.
Your generosity touched my heart. Thank you for caring about the learning needs of our students.”

Kids Love Real Books
Funded Dec 1, 2012Wow! The boys and girls in my kindergarten class have never shown this much enthusiasm for reading! The Leveled Books Classroom Library that you donated has really motivated my students to read books that are developmentally appropriate. They can choose a colorful and interesting book from the mobile storage cart, and easily return it for others to use. Teachers love organization! With these books, I am also able to form guided reading groups to provide the necessary instruction based on individual needs. It has been ideal for both independent and guided reading.
Without your help, my students would not experience this freedom to develop their love for reading. These books not only offer excitement, but they make it easy to provide differentiated instruction, and organization! Thanks to your generosity, the reading progress of my kindergarten class will continue!”

Mrs. Mahoney
