Visualize the Music
Funded Oct 10, 2012We have been using our ELMO document reader for about 3 weeks now and have noticed a much faster learning curve in our classroom! Because of your donations to our classroom, our students are able to learn music quite a bit faster, and we as teachers, are able to better communicate difficult information to our students with ease! I have bragged to most of my teacher friends that our ELMO machine has really made a huge difference in our classroom!
I have also bragged to our students about the kindness of our community, both in our local area and around the United States! We had donors for our ELMO document reader from both the west and east coasts, as well as Texas!
Your thoughtfulness for our choir program has already had a great impact! I can't thank you all enough for your kindness! It means a lot to me, Mrs. Hounshell, and our students! To be able to tell our students that we acquired this technology through donations also has given our students an appreciation for giving back to the community! The students are just as thankful as the teachers for our new ELMO machine! Thank you again, and again, and again everyone!”

Binders for Choir
Funded Feb 17, 2009My students have been using the folders now for several weeks. They absolutely love them! Before, when we had folders that were tearing, the students had very little pride for what they were doing in class. Getting brand new folders has really supported my students and shown them that I believe they are excellent. The new folders also opened up discussion that helped me instill even more confidence in their abilities. I tell them to try and achieve excellence in everything they do and try to encourage them to reach their goals every day.
My students have been so thankful for your help! They were eager to write thank you notes to each and every person who helped our cause. They also made posters and worked with one another. Building teamwork is part of what choir is all about!
The students have been taking great care of the folders since they received them. I have turned your donations into a lesson on taking care of the things that are given to us. They have really responded to that lesson and understand that when something is given to them, they have to do their very best to take care of it. I am so thankful that I could turn these new folders into a lesson on excellence and goals, kindness and sharing, and value of donations. Thank you for your help!”
