Kindles For Kinders---Again!
Funded Apr 12, 2014The children and I were beyond thrilled to get this project funded. It felt like Christmas again when the order was filled and arrived at school.
The cases and screen protectors are necessary in order to protect this technology. I want the kids to take pride in the tablets and take care of them. Getting the accessories to make this possible will teach them to be prepared for that too! Besides, with all of the little hands on each one...we need all of the protection we can get!
The additional tablet made it completely possible for each student to get time on the tablets each day. We have some wonderful apps; reading, math, writing, and FUN! They either have an app for all of our subjects or we can access the programs through the web on them. I intend to make an even greater attempt to save paper while doing a great deal of our required work on them!
The kids and I love them so much in the classroom that I have been encouraging my co-workers to invest some time and start a Donors Choose project!
Thank you so much for your support!”
With gratitude,

Kindles For Kinders
Funded Sep 11, 2013Dear Friends,
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the support you showed when donating to our Kindles for Kinders project. It was hugely successful, thanks to each one of YOU!
The kids were so excited to get this new technology in the classroom. The best part is that it will run current applications and help reinforce our common core standards. We are going to rotate them so everyone gets lots of experience with them.
The Kindles are such a wonderful addition to our classroom. I have already subscribed to several ebook sites for the kids to use and we will be using them to strengthen both reading and math skills. I would love for us to sign up for a school pen pal as well so that we could share our school life with someone from another region of our country - or our world!
Thank you so much and I will be forever grateful for the faith you have shown by helping provide this new technology.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Minshull
