  • Listening Center

    My students jumped for joy when we received our listening center! It is a favorite center each week for rotations and my students are thrilled when it is their turn to go. For my ESL students especially, the additional access to print is a huge advantage. I have been working to build our library of books with CDs so that our listening center can adapt to our needs. Having a listening center in our room has made a big difference for my students in recognizing words in print. Having the extra opportunity to hear the words and match them with the written print has been helpful for all of my students. Thank you again for your generous support of our classroom. It is very much appreciated! My students and I are very thankful for your help in funding this project.”

  • A Place to Learn

    My students were ecstatic when our new table arrived! They love having a place that we can all fit to do our work. I cannot thank you enough for your generous donation to our classroom!

    Each day, I use the table to work with small reading groups. During centers, I call students back based on their reading levels to practice decoding skills. My students have grown tremendously since we received our table because we now have the space to get our work done. I hear from parents all the time about how proud they are of their students and a lot of that is due to our ability to meet in groups on a daily basis. Your donation made that possible in my classroom.

    Since receiving the table, it has been used for our reading groups, writing groups, and various projects. Most recently, students made Christmas trees at our table! My students and I so appreciate your generosity. You have made a difference in our classroom in a very tangible way.”
