  • Books for New Readers

    Funded Apr 9, 2025

Thank you for supporting my students with their reading! The students will be so happy to receive these books to read and add to their personal home library. The students and I are so thankful for the wonderful kindness of donors like yourself. Thank you so much for believing in us!”

  • Math Thinkers

    Funded Mar 15, 2025

These whiteboards helped our students work with partners to think and work on a clean palette to get their math ideas out verbally and visually. The students can be seen working on different ways to show the number seven in the pictures I shared. They continued to work and then take a gallery walk after. We then discussed what we saw. They did a great job and we will continue to use this for math but we will use them for phonics and writing. Thank you for supporting the learning of our students.”

  • Sharp, Clean, and Explore

    Funded Jan 8, 2025

The pencil sharpener has helped keep us writing and it's perfect for the classroom. My responsible students can sharpen pencils when needed. The vacuum has helped on days when we have brought in too much sand or grass. It helps us clean up if we have accidents at breakfast or if our crafts get a bit out of control. My students love Mountain Math! We use it as part of our Math block. We do the calendar and sing our math songs. Then we get to do a few questions from our Mountain Math. These skills are so important to revisit weekly so they solidify. Thank you for helping us stay sharp.”

  • Prizes for Improvement & Achievement

    Funded Feb 9, 2025

Thank you for helping us replenish our class Splash Store! These rewards reinforces the hard work and dedication the students put in daily. The students earn these Splash Points by following our Dolphin Code: Be Kind, Be Safe, Be Respectful and Be Responsible. After they accumulate these points they get to purchase from either my class store of the school store. Many of the students love to purchase experience like lunch with the teacher and doing an activity with the principal or vice principal. Lately they have loved to help present the school announcements. They value intrinsic and extrinsic rewards. I love to be able to allow them to use both stores with their points so they can learn to earn, save and spend. Thank you for helping the students celebrate their hard work and achievements.”

  • Life Cycles - Insects and Plants

    Funded Mar 25, 2025

Thank you so much for supporting our hands-on learning for science. The students will love to witness both the life cycles of plants and insects. The caterpillar observation will be wonderful and tracking the stages of our plants will also be fun. Spring in the classroom just got better with your support!”

  • Toss Like A Boss

    Funded Mar 24, 2025

Thank you so much for getting these items for us to use at our Field Day! The students will have a great time that day with all our activities. The Cornhole game and bubbles will be a great addition to our fun. The Otter Pop will be a great treat on that hot day. We can't wait to have loads of fun.”

  • Learning Comfortably

    Funded Dec 2, 2024

The students have loved our new learning space. The rug has been a wonderful place to have read alouds and to be a comfortable location for our calendar time. I really like that they have their own spots and personal space when the whole class is together. The students also have a cozy spot to read books and to do their learning labs during the day. During our Friday Flashlight reading the students love to partner up and read with the lights turned off. Thank you for giving the students another pleasant spot to gather and learn!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Reimann

  • Ready to Read, Work Together and Express Ourselves

    Funded Dec 2, 2024

The students were so excited to build their animals. We did this as a Valentine's Day activity. They learned that this is the first step before we start researching their animals. They will then work on writing about their animal. We will compile their work in a book. They actually did a journal entry about their animal on the same day. Our science units on animals and what they need to survive and where they live is ready to be started now that they each have their very own animal to learn about. Thank you for helping us get this new science unit started and inspiring their writing.”

  • Celebrating 100 Days of Learning

    Funded Jan 7, 2025

We just celebrated our One Hundred Day of School! The students had so much fun and enjoyed all the fun activities we had planned. The students started the day with search and finding items on a coloring sheet. Wearing their one hundred days smarter crown. They counted how many items and they totalled one hundred. The students enjoyed the story 100th Day Disaster. They loved hunting in the classroom for the one hundred Hershey Kisses that were around the room. We then accounted for each one on our one hundred chart. They were so excited to move on to counting one hundred fruit loops to lace on yarn to create a necklace. They persevered and were able to enjoy a cookie treat that showed one hundred. We passed out certificates and pencils and finally were able to send another one hundreds day task. Their lollipop was sent home with a sheet to see if their lollipop would last one hundred licks. Smiles and fun were had by all. Thank you for helping make this a memorable day for the students!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Reimann

There are 22 eager learners in my Kindergarten class. The students learn through play and by the end of the year they will be readers. We are still in need of hands-on materials for the students to explore and learn. Thank you for understanding our needs, which are really the needs of our students. Please give when you can.
