  • A Nugget for Seating and Centers

    Thank you so much for your generosity towards our classroom project! We have loved having the nugget as a new addition to our classroom.

    It is one of my students' favorite places to visit and learn. I strive to create a learning environment that is safe and comfortable. The nugget is definitely comfortable and provides a wonderful seating option for my students. We read at our nugget, play learning games on our chromebooks at the nugget, and it is also a space when students need some space to think. It is used for so many things!

    I read to my students daily, and most days multiple times a day. Story time is our favorite time of the day! These stories have become some of our favorites that my students ask me to read again and again. I love teaching comprehension skills like character, setting, plot, & sequence using picture books. Vocabulary is another huge skill I use these books to teach.
