  • Summer Fun Here We Come

    Funded Apr 16, 2025

There truly are no words to describe how much this means to my students and me. A group of strangers now friends believed in us enough to show their kindness and support. I know my students will be elated when they see their summer bags filled with all these goodies. You made this happen and the impact in my heart will last a lifetime. Wishing you all the best. Thank you from all of us.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Judy Janecek

  • The Basics for Learning

    Funded Mar 25, 2025

There are no words to truly describe the impact this project has had in the classroom. Having program boxes where all my students materials are neatly stored has being so helpful. The binders allow us to keep data all in one place so we can see the progress. The laminating sheets and protectors help make materials more durable. All of these materials help us to be successful and accurately monitor progress and celebrate our successes! Thank you for believing in us and helping us be successful in the classroom.”

  • Sensory All Around Us

    Funded Jan 16, 2025

There are no words to truly describe the impact these sensory materials have had on my classroom and students. Giving my students access to items like the various squishies help them regulate their strong emotions. The writing and gel boards allow for them to draw out their feelings in a non-invasive way. The tunnel has helped with with turn taking and being able to get some energy out. The two most helpful items have been the weighted butterfly wings and the noise cancelling headphones. The weighted wings allow for a student to put them on their back and the weight helps them to feel more grounded (these are very helpful with students with ADHD). Having enough noise cancelling headphones for all the students to have their own pair has been truly a lifesaver. There are some students in this room that can be quite loud as well as then environment itself. My students know when the noise gets to them they can take their headphones out of their desk and block out some of the distraction. All these materials have made a remarkable change on my students and the classroom itself. These items would not be possible without the kindness and support of generous people like you. Thank you for supporting and believing in us!”

  • No More Rumblies in Our Tummies

    Funded Dec 3, 2024

There truly are no words to accurately describe the impact this project has had on my students. The looks on their faces as we unboxed all the snack was pure excitement. Seeing their eyes brighten when they were told that some very nice people sent these snack for them was pure joy. My students have been so excited to be able to have snacks that they eat and even being able to take some home for weekends and vacation weeks has made them so happy. We no longer have the rubbly in our tummy. There were even some extra special suprises for the students to reward their hard work. None of this is possible without the kindness and generosity of donors like you. Thank you for believing in us and making sure no child goes hungry.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Judy Janecek

  • Full Bellies Lead to Open Minds

    Funded Aug 15, 2024

There are no words to truly describe the impact this project had on my students. Food insecurity is real and because of your generosity in funding this project, it is one less thing my students had to face. Having a snack cabinet stocked brought smiles to the children's faces especially to those that are picky. Knowing that when they are hungry they can access some of the foods they actually eat made such a difference. We are extremely grateful for the kindness and support of our classroom, especially since this project was not for some flashy new technology, but to ensure that no student goes hungry. Thank you for beleiving in us.”

  • Fostering a Love of Reading

    Funded Aug 7, 2024

There are no words to truly express my gratitude in this project funding. My students have loved being able to look at books and sit in comfy chairs. The progress I have seen in my students since receiving these books is absolutely incredible. Not only has their interest in books improved, but their desire to learn how to read as well. Some of the highlights of my day is to watch a small group of students sit in their comfy seat and "read" together. This project has brought a whole new level of special to my classroom. I cannot wait to keep adding additional book titles. Thank you for making this all happen.”

    With gratitude,

  • Let Our Imagination Soar

    Funded May 7, 2024

There are no words to truly describe the impact this project has had on my students. With these building materials my students have begun to elicit language, take turns and work collaboratively. I would never have guessed a few new blocks could have this kind of impact, but they have. My students have also discovered unique ways to use the magnatiles by sticking them to a metal vent. They have even begun using the magnatiles to make a beautiful mosaic. I cannot express thank you enough for helping our imagination soar and helping us to achieve our goals.”

  • No More Rumbly in Our Tummy

    Funded Jan 8, 2024

There are no words to truly describe the impact your donations have had on my classroom. There is nothing worse than having students walk into the classroom already hungry and not for learning, but not have any food they like. Thanks to your kindness and support that is not happening anymore.

Our snack cabinet is stocked with favorite snacks like fruit snacks, nutrigrain bards, cheez-it crackers, oreo cookies and more. My students are now able to have something for breakfast to get their mornings going as well as an afternoon snack to help get through the day.

We are so grateful for your support of our classroom and helping us make sure there are no more rumblies in our tummies. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!”

  • Fostering Creativity Through Art

    Funded Nov 28, 2023

Thank you so much for supporting this project. Fostering Creativity Through Art has done just that! My students have been able to make beautiful works of art thanks to your kindness and support. We were able to make beautiful snowflake suncatchers using the contact and tissue paper, paint our window for a Light the Night display, make melted snowmen with the cotton ball, marble paint mittens with the paint and glitter and so much more. These supplies allow us to create new works are art and have fun practcing our fine motor skills at the same time. We are truly grateful for your support and belief in us. Wishing you all the best!”

I just changed programs and schools. I am now teaching in a SAIL (Specialized Approaches to Increase Learning) program in Worcester, Massachusetts. This program is designed for students on the Autism Spectrum that require intensive services outside of the mainstream classroom. This is a new classroom for students in grades 2 and 3. While the school itself is brand new, materials are scarce in this classroom with only the bare minimum. These students need lots of hands on manipulatives for math and pre-reading skills. Your support for these very special and amazing students is greatly appreciated.
