Good Vibration Sound Energy Discovery

Our class spent two and a half weeks exploring sound. The students were completely engaged in this unit. The excitement that filled the room as they "watched" sound move the water and splash over the sides of the bowl was rattling the walls.

One of the best things that happened was the students telling me how much they shared with their parents. When students go home and tell their parents what they did in school it shows that the lesson made a lasting impression and demonstrates how much of an impact it had on my students.

My principal even joined us for the lesson in which we learned that sound can be "seen". The tuning forks that you so graciously donated to our classroom helped make this lesson come to life.”
