  • Vocabulary Experts in the Making

    Thank you so much for funding this project. I remember the impact this vocabulary workshop made on me as a student, so being able to provide this resource to my students is so exciting! Scholars use these workbooks to learn, practice, and master new words and expand their vocabulary. In a population where research shows students are not being exposed to the sheer number of words necessary to expand their vocabulary to a professional level, this resource is extremely vital! We are not only building good readers, we are preparing students for their future careers!”

  • Get Organized for Third Grade!

    Thank you so much for the generosity that has streamlined our classroom procedures and ensured that we are able to utilize as much of our time for instruction as possible! These organizational supplies have created areas for the scholars to go to in order to find anything they may need for the task at hand. Math centers? Head to the math cart! Word work? Pick a drawer for today's activity! With the amount of work our scholars have to do daily, every minute counts! Also, showing students those organizational skills helps them to decide what methods work best for them to keep themselves on track.”

  • Alternative Seating for Successful Centers

    Thank you so much for your donations to help my students receive alternative seating options! They fell in love with the inflatable chairs the moment I blew them up! Unfortunately, we had some damage to the chairs that required replacement. They love the new seating options even more! With more options the students are rushing to their centers and loving their independent reading time.

    The stools at my small-group table were a great fit and the kids love them, too! I can quickly get everyone organized by designating a color for them to sit on each day. They love the variety and the seating option lets them be comfortable in their own way!”

  • Back to Basics to Build Phenomenal Readers

    Thank you so much for funding this immensely important reading project for my classroom. The students have already made such tremendous efforts with the program and I can see the difference in their abilities every day. The students love coming to small group to get their phonics lesson of the day, and it is really helping them build their reading skills.

    Also, the bouncy bands have completely changed the way my students behave during instruction. Students that need them have them attached to their desks, and students without them are always asking to sit there during centers. They really help the students focus during times of direct instruction when they need to sit still.”

  • Using Technology to Reach Our Goals!

    Dear Donors,

    Thank you so much for your donations to this technology packed project!! The students are absolutely loving the tablets! They are so excited to get a turn to listen to stories of their choice! Soon they will get to use them in an expanded capacity to create, track, and monitor their own reading data.

    The printer has also been of so much benefit already! Our district-provided technology is not always reliable, so being able to pull up a passage on my phone and print it without worry is an amazing way for me to prep my students! I can also make sure they are using technology appropriately by asking them to create stories, posters, and more!”

    Thank you so much for your continued and extensive donations to our class. The impact that these supplies have made is absolutely amazing. In the short time that we've had these centers and book bags, I have seen my students' reading and writing improve at an amazing rate!

    Using the Word Work and Comprehension centers, the students have learned new ways to look at words they don't know as well as words they do. They have learned new techniques for understanding what they read. Their reading levels have skyrocketed!

  • Math is Never Boring!

    Thank you so much for donating to this project! It means so much to me that you continue to donate to my classroom. My students have benefited so much from this chart. Math in Minutes is a great resource for them to use when they finish work early so that they are continuing to work and not wasting time. Students look forward to going to Math in Minutes, writing in their journals, and showing me how much they can get done before we move on with other whole group activities. It is a great motivator as well as a tool to keep their brains working hard.

  • Let's Get a SUPER Start on the Year!

    Thank you so much for your donations to this project. These resources have been priceless in setting up and organizing my classroom. The process of using the book boxes was a bit timely to set up, but once the students got the hang of it, they are LOVING having their own place in a very full classroom. They know what their boxes are for, they know where to go and how to get their supplies, and the system keeps the desks from being full of clutter (which the Desk Fairy and I love!).

    The base 10 blocks have made the most impact on student learning. I have used them to demonstrate concepts during whole group lessons, and I have had several students use them during independent work to help guide their learning. I have seen these manipulatives take a student from confusion to success in a matter of minutes, and I cannot thank you enough for that!”

  • Vocab And Comprehension Activities For Powerful Readers!

    Thank you so much for your donations!! The students were ecstatic when the materials arrived, and they couldn't wait for us to open the box. Once I opened the box, we began exploring the materials together, explaining how they could be used in small groups, independent work, and even whole group learning. We started using the vocabulary resources immediately and within a week I saw such growth in my students that I was amazed! They have truly taken the vocabulary lessons and run with them. This has made a huge impact on their overall reading comprehension because they can read words that they would not have been familiar with before.

    Their comprehension has also increased with the use of the comprehension activities and cards. They enjoy using the resources they can write on as well as keeping a journal of all their work on other books.

    Again, I cannot explain how much I appreciate all your donations throughout this school year!”

  • Reading and Writing Our Way to Success!

    Thank you so much for your support. My students were SO excited when the supplies arrived that they couldn't wait to review, revise, or write something. They all grabbed a pen and jumped right into reviewing a test we had taken. They were able to underline the correct answer and where it came from in the story and this being in a different color made it so much easier for them to understand.

    When we selected individual goals from the Continuum it was amazing to see students recognize their own areas of growth without having to ask me. They could see all the skills they needed to get to the next level and really assess where they were. It was so empowering for them to make their own goals, and they can now hold themselves accountable.

    Again, I cannot express our gratitude enough! You all are angels in our classroom and we thank you so much!”
