Your generosity is beyond measure! Thank you for contributing to this project. Thank you for having a heart for charity and for giving to the children in our schools today. Without your help, this activity would not have been possible.
The looks on my students' faces when I handed them each an owl pellet and the dissecting tools made my year. They were so excited and grateful to have the chance to dissect a real owl pellet. Some of the pellets contained complete skeletons of the creature that was consumed by the owl. What an unforgettable way to investigate food chains.
I am certain my students will always remember this activity. More importantly, perhaps they have learned the value of giving to others. And that is the best lesson of all!”

Mrs. Jordan

Researching wildlife has become an enjoyable event in our library. We still need material but your contribution has made a significant difference in our ability to find interesting, updated material about several subjects.
Wildlife is a topic that inspires most sixth and seventh grade students, especially boys. It comes in second only to sports. Your contribution has made it possible for us to use this topic as a research project.
Donors, such as yourselves, make our learning both beneficial and enjoyable. Thanks is a small thing to say about your caring and giving attitude”
Hello, generous donors. I appreciate your interest in our "recycling project". Thank you for your generous donations.
Our recycling project has gotten off to a slow start. Preparing to move into a new building unfortunately delayed the implementation of our recycling program. But, we are slowly and surely building the program up.
We have decided to collect one type of recyclable each month. One month it may be paper and the next month may be #2 plastics. It seems as if this approach is going to be more successful than others.
Again, thank you for your generosity. No good deed goes unnoticed. ”

GRene Team students use the environmental books in the library sharing these resources with the whole school. They created plant contracts for students and we had a Plant Fair in the fall. Our garden is growing food to develop good snack habits.
The Green Team Students enjoy planning great activities for the whole school. In the spring they will coordinate Energy Week and our first Farmer's Market!! The resources you have so generously provided are being used everyday to enrich student learning.
Our Green Team students enjoy providing service for the school. Thank you for supporting their work!!”
Thank you for our class incubator. It has taken a while put we have finally received eggs and impatiently waiting on our guest to arrive. My class did not realize that it takes more than two days for an egg to hatch. I had to reassure them that it will be worth waiting for. We have pictures of our eggs in the incubator but unfortunately we have no pictures of baby chicks. If possible when we receive them we will send photos if that is permissible. On behalf of my class we thank you for this opportunity of viewing new life. ”

Thank You to those who have made this on going project a reality. Each week my students come in excited to check on our living habitat to see what is new or has changed. Students are all looking forward to spring so that they may bring in creatures and bugs to add. We are also anxiously awaiting the arrival of our first order of tadpoles. They can not be shipped until it is a little a warmer. Until then, we have been focused on the botanical. Planting bulbs and transplanting flowering plants from the yard before the frost hit has kept it lively.
Most recently, I have added fish and fish bowls all around to inspire students while we study Henri Matisse. Like all schools in these difficult times the many projects centered on the resources you funded would not be possible.
Many thanks,”

I cannot express my gratitude enough for your generous donation to my Something's Fishy! project. Educational budget cuts in California have increased class size and reduced funds for services and equipment. Fortunately, there are people like you who highly value and greatly support education to fill in the gap.
My 30 students and I love our aquarium! Our class is the Busy Bees and I found a scuba diving bee for my first decoration, which my students adore. I researched fish types that are excellent community fish and have a lovely variety of shapes, colors, and sizes. We have Dalmation mollies, red platys, Mickey Mouse mollies (black markings on their tails look like Mickey Mouse ears--perfect for a California tank!), and of course, a yellow and black bumblebee platy! The flowing graceful plants, tube coral, and arches provide interesting places for the fish to chase and hide.
I hope to instill in my students a love of learning. We work hard every day on our skills and our beautiful aquarium is a refreshing, wonderful source of enjoyment, beauty, and peace in our classroom. I could never have provided this experience for my students without your thoughtfulness and generosity, and I appreciate it so much. Thank you again for choosing my project and I hope I have honored your donation.”
Thank you so much for the solar cars. This project will change how my students view energy consumption for the rest of their lives. It has inspired my students to explore sustainable energy more effectively than in the past. Their excitement for the project is clear and their enthusiasm has been infectious among the other students in our school. The solar cars have helped them gain a much deeper understanding of solar power and sustainable energy. In the experiments they tested different aspects of solar power with the cars. The kits provided the perfect medium to test their hypotheses and report their results. When they are finished with their testing they will present their results in a sustainable energy science fair at our school.
Thanks to donors like you we will have an outstanding science fair that will inspire younger students to investigate sustainable energy as well.”

Thank you so much for your generosity. The students were thrilled to use the video cameras to make Public Service Announcements. They were able to take their learning about human impact on the environment and planned a storyboard for their PSA. It was amazing to see how technology can quickly motivate this generation of learners.
They were all involved and thrilled to choose their best file to share with the class. I truly believe that they were able to apply their learning in a meaningful way. I hope that through this lesson they not only saw how their actions affect our environment, but also learned that there are ways to make a difference and cause change in a good way.
Thank you again for your help in making this lesson possible and creating a rich learning experience for these students. ”

I would like to again thank you for your generous donations to my classroom and students. The items that were given have really impacted my students and reminded them why the environment is something we have to keep clean.
Your donations have ensured that another group of children know the harmful effects that pollution has on our environment. The donations have also helped to teach the students that we as humans are the causes of pollution, and also the solution to pollution.
Again I thank you for giving my students and I this opportunity for learning.”

Ms. Coleman
