Thank you SO much for contributing to our Integrating Technology project!! Since receive our iPads, students have used them in a variety of creative ways to deepen and amplify their learning! For example, students are able to create and publish a variety of projects on the iPads. From the iPads, students are able to share their projects with not only each other, but also with their parents. Their projects are saved in an online learning journal that parents can access at any time!

The most exciting part of now having iPads is that our students are able to think outside the box. One example when working on projects is students have the ability to add pictures to their projects. They can add pictures by taking a picture, finding a picture that matches their need, drawing their own picture on the iPad, or drawing a picture on paper and taking a picture of it to add to their projects. The possibilities really are endless with the right apps!!

Also, because we now have iPads students are able to accomplish things they couldn't before. I have one student in particular that had not written much for the majority of the year. Then when he had an iPad, he became quite the writer! Between spelling help, dictation, and the ease of typing students are able to write much more than they did before we had iPads.

The iPads truly have transformed our learning this year. Again, thank you so much for being a part of our growth in our learning!”
