• Hatching Chicks

  Thank you for contributing to this fantastic project. We are so looking forward to being able to hatch eggs. My students will have the fantastic opportunity to see chicks hatch with their own eyes! They will be engaged in their learning because they will be having so much fun watching what happens. Additionally, they will be motivated to write about it in their Science Notebooks, which in turn, will increase their writing ability. I know that this will be an experience that they will remember for the rest of their lives! We just received our boxes last week. Thanks again for your generous support!”

• Help Us Leap Higher

  Wow, as I write this I am shaking. This morning when I looked on your site, I needed to raise 85,000 wow points. About a minute later, I checked again and my project was not listed. I searched by name and saw that I was funded. I am so excited and appreciate you so much! Thank you so much for all that you are doing for teachers and students across the nation! My children will have LeapFrog tablets to help increase their Reading and Math skills. They will be so excited to use materials that are fun and engaging to learn. Thank you, again and again!”

  I have always dreamed of having an IPad for my classroom after hearing about how other teachers use them with their students. • Tag Our Class

  I just wanted to say thanks again for our Tag Readers. We only had 4 Tag Readers for a larger class. When kids would ask to use the Tag Readers, I would have to tell them "I am sorry but we don't have any more." Now, when a child asks to use a Tag Reader, I can give them one:) They are so excited to use them. The Tag Readers are helping the children practice their Reading skills. They really enjoy being able to point to the words as they read. The children are becoming better readers by using our Tag Readers. Thanks again!!!!”

• We Need Some Nooks

  Thank you so much for helping fund this project! I was so excited when I checked my e-mail and noticed that our Nooks were funded. My students are going to be so thrilled to use these Nooks. They will be able to practice their Reading skills as they read along with the stories on the Nook.

  I would especially like to thank 37 people and Sonic for supporting my project. 37 people,you are always there to support teachers! I am also amazed by the generosity of Sonic. I know that many teachers have had the privilege of having their projects funded by teachers. Thanks for all you do for teachers!

• Stop Bullying Before It Starts

  Thank you so much for helping us get our project funded! We are so lucky to have such wonderful donors who are willing to help teachers. We are so excited to get our materials to create a positive and caring learning community. Our students will now be able to understand how their words and actions affect all of the students in our classroom. • HELP! We Need A Bigger Rug

  Funded Oct 3, 2011

  I was so excited when I checked my e-mail and found that we received funding for this project. Right now, we have an oval rug and it was perfect when we had a smaller class. Our class has doubled in size! When we sit on our carpet now, I hear " I am squished".

  With this new rug, the children will be able to sit on the rug in their own assigned space. They will have a designated area to make it easier to stay in their place. Additionally, they will have some elbow room around them for comfort. I just want to say thank you to all of my donors and especially to Sonic for completing this project. I know that many teachers across the country appreciate all that you do for us!

• Saving Trees One Boogie at a Time

• Let's Raise Our Interaction to the Next Level

  I am in total shock right now!! I just went to check on my project and found out that it was totally funded. I am so excited that my class will be able to learn interactively with this MimioVote system! My children will love using it. I am in awe of all of the people that helped make this possible for my students! I am shaking as I am typing this message. I can not fully express how thankful that I am for these materials. With these materials, my students will increase their reading practice. They will become more engaged in their learning and develop strength in fluency as well.
