Resources for the fine public school teachers in the US is very low. They need help. Please consider picking a classroom project from the list below to support.
My students are using the supplies that were purchased through your donations. Glue sticks and crayons are supplies that we use everyday in kindergarten. The journals are used at school and for homework. The journals encourage parent involvement at home. Pencils are used everyday for all subjects.
Your donation has given my students the supplies they need to be successful at school and at home. You have made a difference in the education of my students. I want to say thank you so much. Just know you have made my students feel comfortable at school knowing they have the supplies needed for a busy day at school.
I really appreciate your donations and my students are doing well in school.
Thank you so much!!”

Mrs. Miller

On behalf of my students now and in the future, I would like to express my most sincere thanks for your generosity in supplying the necessary funds to purchase two sets of scientific calculators for my classroom. Teaching in an urban setting is rife with challenges, and foremost among these is a profound lack of funding and adequate resources. When coupled with other factors, this unfortunate reality creates the achievement gap that and the sad phenomenon of severely under-performing schools. As part of Teach For America, I committed to fight the existence of the achievement gap. And with your help, in my classroom and for my students, I believe I can close it.
My students have difficulty with basic arithmetic facts, and though I have worked to remedy this, I simply don't have the time in my curriculum to spend weeks ensuring each child can perform multiplication and long division flawlessly. The calculators I've received have helped me push ahead in my curriculum - I can now teach geometry and algebra, moving my students along with the hope of catching them up with their more affluent peers. I can now focus on problem-solving skills, since calculators help students with the tedious tasks of solving problems with fractions and decimals by hand. I can assure you that my students in the future will benefit as well, as I can now revamp my entire curriculum around our new technology. Thank you once again for your commitment and partnership in making sure ALL students have the resources necessary to succeed in the 21st century! ”
Words are never enough to express my gratitude for your generosity. My students are enjoying the materials we received for our classroom! We were able to make Christmas gifts for their parents and Christmas cards for the soldiers over seas. As a teacher I am grateful for all the supplies that I received because I will be able to use for many years. Without the help from people like you, teachers would not have the stuff in their classrooms for the students to use. I wish you could of seen the smiles on my students faces when we received all the boxes of supplies and I opened them and told them about the program that gives us stuff to use in our classrooms.
Once again Thank You for your gifts to my classroom!”

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your generous donation. As you are aware, our economy is not at it's best and with your donation of our school supplies, my students will be able to see success everyday.
With your donation, my students who did not have school supplies when they came to school, now have their own glue sticks, scissors, markers, map pencils, and last pencils. We use these supplies every day and seeing my students happy and not embarrassed, makes a good day in our classroom.
Again, thank you so much for your donation. My students are learning that other people care about their future.”
Thank you is not enough for all the goodies that we have received. My kids have been playing with the puzzles in the room but were not real interested in them since they are worn, missing pieces and some had the paper torn off but when the new puzzles arrived with the plastic on they were thrilled. They immediately wanted to open them and play. They put together the Under the Sea puzzle and did not want to take it apart because they said it is so pretty. They wanted to hang it on the wall.
They got excited about the paint too because it was Crayola and not the cheap stuff. They said it painted better and they have done some very gooy paintings. The letter puzzles have been fun especially for those that don't know their letters and the picture behind the letter has helped them.
Thanks again for all that you have given us and we just want to say thank you and we love you.
You may feel like this is a small token but this is gigantic especially to teachers like me that are starting over and with all the budget issues. Please keep helping because you have put a smile on these little faces and mine.
Sincerely,
Dawn and my kids ”

I can not thank each of you enough for donating to my project. It is amazing the enormous impact that these CD plays have had on the students learning; they are taking class textbook and audio books home and learning faster than I could ever teach them in class!
Since my initial request, my class has grown substantially! We have gained 12 additional students from West Africa and Haiti. These students have grown enormously in just a few short weeks from having the listening exercises available. Having these resources to offer the students is really helping our school to build positive relationships with the students, with the students' parents, and in turn with the surrounding international community.
Thank you again for your generous contributions. I sincerely can not imagine my classroom without the listening materials!”
Thank you again for your kind donation of a projector and screen!
There has been a noticeable positive change in the atmosphere of our class since the arrival of your gifts. Student focus has increased, participation has risen, and even attendance has improved! Most importantly, grades have gone up as well! See, technology can do wonders! We hope that our pictures and letter will at least paint a small picture of how your generosity improved our school experience.
Please be sure to check out our pictures on donorschoose.com; we had a lot of fun taking them in class!
We greatly appreciate your kindness, and hope that you will consider donating again.
My students and I could never thank you enough for your kindness. It takes a special person to give to complete strangers. Your investment will help to move these students who are less fortunate forward.
When the packages arrived of all the school supplies my students were ecstatic. They told me that they couldn't believe that a total stranger would help them. Ten out of twelve of my students come from single family homes. Families often aren't able to purchase the necessary tools for school. They often have to choose between food or school supplies. Because of this fact I am left to supply them with the necessary tools for learning. With the economy the way it is I was struggling to replenish necessary learning tools for my students. Thanks to you, they are now able to use the markers, pencils, crayons, paper, books, pencil sharpener and the other things you have provided for them.
My students often and lose an average of three pencils a day. They have broken two electric sharpener for the year so far. So that said thank you for providing a power
Sharpener and 300 pencils. They are now able to create projects using the drawing utensils and paper you donated.
Your contribution has made a great impact of students who need so much. ”

Thank you so much for your donation to our project "It is Time to Clean Up". This year, as a school, we are piloting a Student Leadership program where upperclassmen students get the opportunity to share their knowledge and experience while helping 9th graders adjust to being in school.
During this program, the upperclassmen will teach life lessons to 9th graders, as well as make a peer to peer connection. Due to time constraints, students will eat lunch during this time. Because of your donation to our project, students now have the materials to provide a sanitary and appropriate clean up in the classrooms.
Thank you so much for your support to our program and assistance. ”

This is just a small token of my personal gratitude! If I could show you how much my students truly appreciated receiving the gifts from you, you would be amazed. Just the simple things, like construction paper and dry erase markers. The students enjoyed writing on the dry erase boards without difficulty. The small things in life are still appreciated and I thank you so much. We use these materials almost every day and the kids and I both say thank you everyday.
I just cannot thank you enough for being so gracious and "Thinking with the End in Mind." My students will truly succeed and go further in life, for you are teaching them to put others first. Without donors like you, thousands of classrooms in the United States would go without.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Blais
