  • Diversifying Our ELA Curriculum

    Funded Jul 6, 2020

Thank you so much for helping me provide rich and diverse reading opportunities for my students. Our school has been committed to creating opportunities for academic excellence and social justice for students since opening in 2012. These resources will help continue this mission. These books have ensured that all of my students - wonderful kiddos who come from all over the world, representing multiple races, religions and ethnicities - are able to see themselves in the books we read as well as make connections with their friends. Your donation has a huge impact on ensuring students are given the opportunity to create the habits of life-long readers who are excited to explore the world through literature.”

  • Snack Attack! Part 2

    Funded Jan 8, 2024

Thank you so much for the tasty snacks that helped us finish out year. With an early lunch time, most of my students were hungry in the afternoon. Even though they had the option of bringing a snack from home, most of my students did not. Being able to offer them a snack was a true blessing indeed. These were snacks that were luxuries god most of my students. You should have seen their faces when they were allowed to choose from a wide variety.

Thanks again for reaching out to help students in rural South Carolina. As always, you ROCK!”

  • Kindness Counts part 2

    Funded Feb 2, 2024

Thank you for supporting our kindness project. The nursing home residents loved everything we sent. I loved riding by in the afternoon on my way home from school and seeing the suncatchers hanging in the windows. It made me smile every day.

We also made items for our mothers and other caregivers. Parents always love a home-made gift! We m

even surprised the other teachers and assistants in our building with a sweet flower bouquet for Teacher Appreciation Week.

Thank you again for supporting kindergarten students in rural South Carolina. As always, you rock!”

  • Glowing With Success

    Funded May 6, 2024

Thank you for helping my students celebrate their learning this year. The students were amazed with all we were able to do. The games, markers, hats, glow sticks, rings and necklaces all added to the gun! We were able to invite the other kindergarten students to join in. Every student had a blast!

Our school building closed after being a fixture in our community for 98 years. It was fun having an extra reason to celebrate!

Thank you again for supporting kindergarten students in rural South Carolina. As always, you ROCK!”

  • Guarding From Irma

    Funded Jan 17, 2018

I wanted to take a moment to personally thank you for your generous donation towards mouth-guards and training shorts for our team. Your support is not only helping to protect our athletes on the field but also ensuring they are comfortable and confident during training.

The mouth-guards are essential for our players' safety, and the training shorts are making practices more effective by allowing the team to move freely and focus on their performance. Your contribution is truly making a difference in their preparation and protection.

We are deeply grateful for your kindness and commitment to the well-being and success of our athletes.

Thank you once again for your incredible support.”

  • Let's Make All of Our Students Generation Geniuses

    Funded Dec 29, 2023

Thank you so much for helping to fund our project for a school-wide subscription to Generation Genius. The teachers and students at our school have enjoyed having this resource available for science and math lessons. The teachers have used it to introduce new math concepts such as measurement and multiplication of decimal numbers. They have used it to introduce science concepts such as force and motion. The kids have loved the activities included such as building catapults and making sound waves. Having this resource available for everyone to use has been great and opened up many lessons that couldn't have been done with only a personal subscription. We look forward to continuing to have access again next year. Again, we thank you for your support of our students.”

  • Class One Daily Chores

    Funded Sep 5, 2023

My students use the cleaning supplies daily. We wash dishes, clean sink, sweep floors, clean the blackboards, wipe down tables and more. Daily chores teach students a sense of responsibility.

Many of my students were happy to receive these supplies. They especially enjoy washing dishes and supplies as well as wiping the tables.

Since we have been using these supplies for months I noticed students who take initiative to clean up a mess without an adult asking them to. They know where to find the broom if they need to sweep. They know to wipe the table after eating or painting.

Thank you donor's for your support.”

  • STEM Storage Part 2

    Funded Jan 1, 2024

Thank you so much for the storage boxes. They have made locating and storing our STEM materials more efficient and organized! Need the farm magna-tile set? No problem! Where are the Bee-Bots? I see them! what is the rain Duplo set? It's right there! Having see-through containers makes everything easier. An additional perk in having these storage boxes is that since all of our STEM materials are already in the tubs, moving them to the new school will be a breeze. They are basically packed and ready to go.

  • Learning and Earning

    Funded Jan 29, 2024

I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for your generous support of our first grade classroom. Thanks to your contributions, we have been able to introduce an array of motivational prizes, candies, and small toys that have transformed the way my students engage with their learning.

The children absolutely adore the fidget spinners and the excitement they feel when they earn treats like Airheads and Ring Pops is truly contagious. These rewards have inspired them to work harder and stay focused, knowing that their efforts will be recognized and celebrated.

Moreover, the LCD writing boards you helped us acquire have been a game changer in our daily lessons. Every student can actively participate by answering questions in a fun and engaging way, which not only enhances their learning experience but also boosts their confidence as they see their thoughts displayed immediately.

Your support has not only provided tangible tools to aid in education but has also brought joy and enthusiasm into our classroom. It's heartwarming to see the students so engaged and motivated, and it's all thanks to your kindness and generosity.

Thank you again for making such a meaningful difference in the lives of these young learners. Your impact will be felt long beyond this school year.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Stucki
