    Thank you so much for funding the theory books that harmonize -- literally -- with the method books we use. The students are just about three weeks away from their first public performance. Now that they are beginning to master simple postures and melodies with their instruments, the theoretical background of notation will be much more meaningful to them. Your generosity will excite and encourage my students as they play Mozart, Beethoven, and seasonal favorites.

    Thank you for making my students' wish come true. The students are so excited and can't wait to begin filming. The experience of filmmaking will enhance what we are learning in the classroom. Hands on learning is a powerful technique and now my students will have the opportunity to experience what a filmmaker and editor go through on a daily basis. The gift of a video camera for the film class will give them an enriching culminating experience”

  • Spice Up The Classroom

    Thank you so very much for donating to these wonderful students! These items (the bulletin boards and treasure box) are very inspirational. These students are allowed to reach into the treasurer box every Friday if they have done their homework all week long. Since I have started this treasurer box incentive the students have gone above and beyond doing their homework and they are so excited for Friday to come around.     My students and I are so appreciative of every donor that gave to our project. I can't wait to get started on these self-portraits and teach the students that their differences are what make them beautiful. I believe that helping the students see themselves not just in a mirror but in an artistic way can help to give them a positive self image and gain confidence.
