  • Knowledge is Power: Alternative Energy Power II

    Funded Nov 30, 2008

Thank you so much for your generosity to our classroom! Because of you, my students will continue to learn in meaningful, challenging, cooperative, and fun ways how to power up our society without contributing to pollution and global warming. Through the use of these kits, books, and videos, they will learn Science content and skills that will stay with them for life. When we take trips to museums, they will remember how the activities in class relate to the exhibits at each museum. These kits will continue to be used by my students for years to come, thus positively impacting thousands of attitudes towards humanity's role within our home, planet Earth! Once again, thank you so much!

    Sincerely,

    Gerar”

  • Taking a Closer Look at Life

    Funded Dec 11, 2008

I am truly grateful for your generous donation. My students have been doing wonderful work relating to science. We currently have a squirrel to use for a classroom dissection. From that, we will take samples of different tissue from different organs to compare and contrast cells. Having these new materials you funded will make our classroom safer and more manageable for those students who are squeamish with dealing with fresh specimens as well as make our studies of tissue types more comprehendible with these special slides.

    Thank you so very much.

    Happy Holidays!

    Stephe”
