  • Recreation and Leisure Skills for Students with Disabilities

    I am so excited to have this project funded! I know that my students will enjoy using the materials. The materials will also be a great way to work on the social skills that are so important for their future.

    My goal is to have my students engage in appropriate social and recreational leisure activities, with their same-age peers. This will help encourage social skills, as well as give them opportunities to interact with age-appropriate social models. I can also use these supplies to help my students work on fine motor skills, gross motor skills, sensory needs, and following directions.
