  • Joy to the Creatures of the Deep Blue Sea

    Thank you very much for funding our project, "Joy to the Creatures of the Deep Blue Sea". By receiving the materials for this project, my students will be able to dissect and learn about organisms that contribute to the ocean and aquatic ecosystems. These dissection and learning opportunities will actively engage the students as they prepare to participate in various competitions such as the National Ocean Science Bowl, area science relay competitions, and general knowledge scholars' bowl activities. These competitions oftentimes motivate the students to learn beyond what is expected in the regular classroom as we struggle to meet the state standards. Through the use of the materials you have funded, I will have the resources to help students expand their knowledge base and even open their eyes to career opportunities that they might otherwise not know about. Thank you again for the donation of materials for the Kansas students to learn about the ocean”
