My students were delighted with the reading material you so graciously donated. When I shared the books with them, the students immediately began to schedule who was going to read which book.
My students will use these materials as extra materials in our Read 180 class. The books will supplement the text book. As such the students were able to broaden their knowledge of themes already studied and appreciate different cultures through the reading.
Thank you so much for your generosity. The genres and literature we received will enrich these children's lives.”
Thank you so much for your generous donations. I work in a rural Pennsylvania school and funding is very limited for extras such as fiction and nonfiction books. I try to accumulate as many newly published books as I can through my own funds, but it is very difficult to keep my classroom bookshelves filled because the students genuinely enjoy reading a good book!
When we received the box in the mail of our books, I waited until class to physically open it. The students were in awe that someone had given so many books to us without even knowing who we are. I showed them each book and summarized them. Some of the books fit into a series that students were reading and some are just the "newest" ones out. It was a thrill to see their faces.... and to encourage them to be lifelong readers by giving them a great selection to read.
Again, I appreciate your generosity. I apologize for my lateness on this letter. I am the prom advisor, senior class advisor...plus organized a 7th and 8th grade girls' self esteem seminar, a Greek Olympics day...and helped with the 9th grade dance. All within the last 2 months.
You have given me an exciting gift that will give to my students this year and for years to come.
I want to thank you for your generous donation for the framing supplies you generously donated to my students. Because of your donations my students were able to exhibit their works professionally in the Arts Council Gallery, where only adult artists have been exhibited in the past. The art show "Coming of Age" was a tremendous success we raised our attendance at our school art exhibit from 5 to over 92 community members, parents and peers.
My students were proud that their work was hung in frames and matted professionally. In the past we have had to hang works on construction paper. Your donation made my students feel like professional artists.
Your donation will continue to help my students with future exhibits because we will reuse the frames for our next year show and students can also use the frames and matting to submit works for art scholarships and competitions district wide. In addition, we will use some of the frames to hang Art Club Alumni pieces throughout the campus. This will inspire our young artist to leave a piece of themselves behind on the walls of the campus to honor the arts and young artists of our small rural African American school.
Without donors like you, our young artists in face of budget cuts would not have the opportunity to experience the power and joy of the arts. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you. ”
With gratitude,

Thank you very much for your generous donation to my class for students with special needs. We were able to purchase ink for our digital printer, which is used to create picture symbols to help nonverbal students communicate. The items that you purchased for our class help us foster the communication needs of our students. We strive daily to teach students ways to communicate when they are not able to speak their needs in the classroom and in the community. Thank you for your generous donation to our class. You have made a significant difference in the ability for our children to communicate and learn!”

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Words seem inadequate to express my appreciation of the impact your generosity will make on my kids! As our society navigates difficult financial times, facing the challenges of immigration reform, and a need for compassionate appreciation of our individuality, "Lessons from the Weedpatch" will provide students with encouragement to face obstacles, and rely on themselves and each other in problem solving. I look forward to communicating my students' successes in the 2008-2009 school year. Thank you again for your consideration and support for creative teaching”
I would personally like to thank you for your donation to fund my project. I am so excited to get to offer this opportunity to my students. It will be so wonderful to be able to incorporate the DVD player into my centers. It will allow my students to see first-hand concepts we have discussed in class. The low income background of my class population does not allow students the first-hand experience of concepts taught in science. The use of this DVD player and DVDs will allow me to bring science concepts to them first-hand, visually. By seeing the science concepts from real world examples on DVD, students will be able to "See and Believe" what they have learned about, and therefore, giving them concrete examples and knowledge of what we have learned in class. This is a wonderful opportunity. Thank you for your support and donation. Tiffan”
Thank you so much for your contribution to our classroom. We have just started a unit on the Renaissance and copies of the Prince will come in handy. I am looking forward to breaking my students away from "textbook" dependence and teaching them how to read other kinds of historical accounts. What a great way to start the school year!
I can't thank you enough for your contribution to our classrooms. I can't really say anything that hasn't been said before, but at a time when it is very easy to criticize and complain about things, you have chosen to help in this way. At a time when school districts are pressed for funds, you have chosen to give a contribution. I could not be more grateful. Thanks again”
Thank you so much for you generous gift. Because of you generous gift students scores will improve. More importantly, they will see the power of math and realize how important math is in their generation. I will be able to reach students I would not have been able too before!. Thank you so much”
Wow! I am thrilled to see that my Donors Choose proposal has recently been funded. As the new school year quickly approaches it is exciting to know we will have our "classroom essentials"! I look forward to sharing our work with you come fall. Not only will my students learn academic lessons using these materials, they will most importantly understand that people want them to be successful and feel they are worthy of a nice gift. I greatly appreciate your kind donation. Thank You”
With gratitude,
Ms. Alexander
