  • Dissecting Science, One Frog At A Time

    Funded Dec 11, 2007

Thank you for funding my class' project! I really appreciate your consideration. My students have entered science class this year wondering, "when are we gonna dissect the frog?" I was afraid to tell them that there might not be any dissections this year. Thankfully, it's now possible thanks to you! They will be very excited to use the equipment and present their findings. Science has become a very important class for my students and I can't wait to reward them for their hard work so far this year. Thank you once again.

    Sincerely,

    Ingri”

  • The Circle of Life

    Funded Oct 23, 2007

We are thrilled that you have chosen to fund a really exciting program for our school. Not only will the children get to experience life on a farm in the classroom, we will be reaching out to the community center down the street so that our students can learn from and interact with the seniors there. I can't wait to see their faces when I tell them what we will be doing with the incubator and the hatched chicks! Thank you so much for your generosity. You should know that our school is in the South Bronx. It is located in one of the poorest neighborhoods. Many of our students live in shelters. This program may inspire them to believe that there is more to life than what they know...Gratefully, Ann Owen”
